A week on Gower (Friday to Friday)
Designated the UK's first Area of Outstanding Beauty (AONB) in 1956. As a peninsula located to the West of Swansea, Gower is blessed with award-winning beaches (one of them regularly features in the top 10 best beaches in the world). Clean, clear waters, hills, bridle paths, walkways, woodlands, castles, restaurants, country pubs and much more.
Gower is one of the country's most popular walking destinations. A mix of awe inspiring coastal path with a complex geology influenced by past ice ages. Feast your eyes on the south coast's superb limestone scenery at Worm's Head and Oxwich Bay with salt marshes, dune systems and the Whiteford Lighthouse in the north.
The proposed walking programme will be a mixture of circular and linear walk.
Make your own way to Gower with an opportunity to share a lift once we have the list of names.
We are in the process of block booking a number of self catering properties, therefore numbers will be limited and sharing would be appreciated.
However for those who like the outdoors, camping is an option situated across the road from the accommodation.
More information will follow.
